March OMREB Statistics


While Mother Nature is taking her time with the outward signs of spring, the market is rising to the occasion with more activity. 

Residential sales across the Central Okanagan region rose to 545 in March, up from February’s 407 yet 13% fewer than March of last year reports the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB). Vist: www.omreb.com

February 2019 OMREB Stats




Residential sales for the region of Revelstoke to Peachland rose to 407 in February, up from January’s 310 and December’s 324, yet 19% fewer than this time last year reports the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB).

March Residential Market a Mixed Story


Residential sales across the region of Revelstoke to Peachland rose to 628 in March, 25% over the previous month, yet down 24% from this time last year, reports the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB). However average price was $521,192, up just 2% over February and 10% higher than this time last year.
With so many factors impacting the market, conditions are tricky and buyers and sellers are advised to engage a local real estate professional whose job it is to stay abreast of conditions and who has the knowledge to analyze and accurately interpret market implications.
